In the Southeast Asian country of Nicara, Sheng Ze—the heir of the Chinese tycoon family conglomerate Shengye Group—returns for the funeral of his younger brother, Sheng An. Convinced that Sheng An was murdered by his personal maid, Qiao Wan, Sheng Ze vows to seize power and take revenge. Meanwhile, Shengye’s current head, Sheng Huaijing, begins to test his nephew, who has returned shrouded in secrets. Was Qiao Wan acting under Sheng Huaijing’s orders when she allegedly killed Sheng An? What was the true cause of Sheng An’s death?
