Biography

Uwe Köhler (born May 20 , 1965 ) is a German musician and was the bassist of the hard rock band Bonfire from 1996 to 2014 . Previously, he played in bands like Black Tears and Big Apple . He also contributed to the production of Affair 's album 'No Substitute' as a bassist and songwriter. After leaving Bonfire, he released his first solo album, UK's Homage, in 2015, which he produced and recorded himself. His second solo album, "Old Gods' Return," was released in 2019 with his newly formed band, "Switchblade Romance." He also worked on Mark Sweeny's and Michael Voss' projects Wolfpakk (2020), and Michael Voss' "Rockers Rollin' – a tribute to Rick Parfitt" (2023). He is currently touring with his cover band "Powertrip".
