1980, La Paz, Bolivia. Luis Espinal is assassinated. Act sponsored by the paramilitary group "Los novios de la muerte", commissioned by Klaus Barbie. 2019, Santa Cruz Airport. Luis, a journalist, arrives from Spain to make a documentary about the conditions of this assassination. With a Bolivian film crew, they are determined to unravel the truth about what happened.
