Ali Akbar Khan was one of the first Indian musicians to introduce Hindustani classical music to non-Indian audiences, swiftly building a reputation as master of the sarode (an Indian hybrid of the banjo and ode). This compilation of live concert clips captures Khan in his musical element in a variety of venues, and includes bonus footage of the making of Khan's Grammy-nominated "Legacy" album with singer Asha Bhosle.
