Guitarist/vocalist Keb 'Mo' draws heavily on the old Robert Johnson country blues style, keeping his sound contemporary with touches of soul and folk storytelling. An accomplished singer as well as an accomplished sideman, he writes much of his own material and applies it in playing his acoustic, uses electric and slide guitar . Born Kevin Moore in Los Angeles to Southern-born parents, he was exposed to gospel music at an early age.
