Kimote Sr., disillusioned by a life of unfulfilled dreams, urges his son to abandon their ancestral trade in search of greater opportunities. However, young Kimera, deeply rooted in the skills and culture passed down to him, envisions a new purpose for the humble barkcloth—transforming its status beyond its traditional use in funerary rites.
